DMCA Policy

IG Story Viewer respects the rights of content creators. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used improperly, here's how to reach us.

Our approach to copyright

IG Story Viewer is built for viewing publicly available Instagram content. We take copyright seriously and will act promptly on valid takedown requests submitted under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Protecting creators

We're committed to removing content that legitimately infringes on someone's copyright. Our tool is designed for personal viewing — not for unauthorized redistribution of protected work.

DMCA compliance

We follow the DMCA process for handling takedown notices and counter-notices. All claims are reviewed and acted on in line with U.S. copyright law.

We act on valid notices

Once we receive a complete and valid DMCA notice, we'll take appropriate action — which may include removing or disabling access to the content in question. Repeat violations may result in access being revoked.

How to file a takedown notice

If you believe content on IG Story Viewer infringes your copyright, send us a notice that includes all of the following:

1. Description of your copyrighted work

A clear description of the work you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, include a representative list.

2. Location of the infringing material

The specific URL or enough information for us to locate the content on our platform.

3. Your contact information

Your full legal name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.

4. Good faith statement

A statement that you believe in good faith the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. Accuracy statement and signature

A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf. Include your physical or electronic signature.

How to file a counter-notice

If you believe content was wrongfully removed, you may file a counter-notice including:

Your identity and the removed content

Your full name, address, phone number, email, and a description of the content that was removed and where it appeared.

Good faith statement

A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification.

Consent to jurisdiction

A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and will accept service of process from the original complainant.
